National Hemophilia Foundation’s Washington Days
March 6-8, 2024

NBDF’s Washington Days is an opportunity for people affected by bleeding disorders to advocate for issues that are important to the community. Bleeding Disorders Association of South Carolina participates each year providing a voice for South Carolina’s bleeding disorder community and a strong unified commitment to the national community. In 2023, a record of close to 400 attendees from 45 states and Puerto Rico gathered virtually for the community advocacy event. We were among the represented Congressional districts and Hill visits. Participants of Washington Days are provided a briefing and training session held the day before the Capitol visit; talking points and key issues are discussed and reviewed. It is a great experience for everyone and if you are interested in attending, contact the Chapter for additional information on the potential assistance with attending the NBDF’s Washington Days and representing our state and Bleeding Disorders Association of South Carolina.

Please note that Washington Days 2024 is an in-person experience. Washington Days programming will take place during the dates of March 6-18.

Key Advocacy Issues will be announced soon on the NBDF’s Washington Days Website.
