BDASC Legacy Program

Leaving a Lasting Legacy with BDASC

The Bleeding Disorders Association of South Carolina (BDASC) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to serving the the bleeding disorders community throughout the state of South Carolina and supporting the missions of the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation and the Hemophilia Federation of America.  BDASC was founded in 1973 by a group of parents interested in promoting awareness, providing group support, and assisting other national hemophilia organizations. The organization for 42 years existed as all-volunteer; providing programs and education, support services, and advocacy for access to care at the state’s capitol and in Washington.

BDASC continues to strive to meet the needs of an every-growing community.  As the world and the community evolve, so must BDASC continue to change with it.  BDASC has seen many large changes over the past few years, from changing the name of the organization from Hemophilia of South Carolina to be more inclusive of all bleeding disorders, to the changes within the greater community and our industry.

During a time of great uncertainty, we are constantly inspired by our community.  This community, which faces many unique challenges, continues to support each other.  Our Lasting Legacy Program has grown from that vein.

The BDASC Lasting Legacy Program

The BDASC Lasting Legacy Program was designed to recognize and aid donors who look to provide financial support to the next generation of bleeding disorders families here in South Carolina.

BDASC Lasting Legacy participants are individuals who have made plans to provide a lasting impact within their estate planning.  Thus providing BDASC an opportunity to continue to support those within our community who are living with or affected by bleeding disorders.  These planned gifts, no matter how large or how small, can take many forms.  Please utilize the information below to see how you can become part of BDASC’s lasting legacy.
